A friend of mine is desperately looking for web design work. She lives in NJ. Any suggestions or places I can recommend she look? I've asked before, but gotten no replies (at least I think it was on this group). Suggestions appreciated.

i just decided a few days ago that would like to learn about html and webdesign. my first attept is making my husbands website.
i was wondering if someone would be able to walk me through this?
im using a dreamweaver trial that someone suggested i dl.
this is my first time trying to do something like this, and i know nothing about it. i need someone who will be patient with me.

2 years ago when I started to get interested in web design, I couldn't find many resources on the web to learn. I found some good books, took a class, and learned by hacking other peoples code. I figure that there are people out there, who like me need help to learn the basics. Now that I am a little more accomplished I figure maybe i can help those people. If they find their way here that is. This is meant to be a discussion forum. Anyone can reply to the posts here. Now and then I will post a message that shall serve as a base for discussion. Anyone can create an original post to this forum if You are a registered user of Live Journal if you want to become a user go here.

I hope everyone finds this useful.
